High-security cylinders resist picking, drilling, and bumping in ways a standard deadbolt simply cannot. They also use restricted keyways, so nobody can copy your key at a hardware store.

For a typical single-family home, one high-security deadbolt on the primary entry door usually delivers the best return. For commercial doors, storefronts, and multi-tenant buildings, we recommend high-security across the board.
